Valley of the Ten Peaks

Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada is a very popular location for photographers and for a good reason – it’s absolutely breathtaking! But, because it’s so popular there are many, many photos of the place so I set out to try find a vantage point to give this image a bit of a different look when I came upon this. It was a bit of a mad scramble as I hadn’t settled on a composition as the alpenglow was starting to happen, but in the end it all worked out and I was quite happy with the image I came away with.
