Morning at Peyto Lake
I got to Peyto Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada at least half an hour before sunrise, but when I got there, there were two other photographers already there and they were in exact spot I wanted to shoot from. Rather than get in their way, I set out to look for an alternative spot and after walking a few hundred meters, I found these beautiful, lichen covered boulders so stopped there and set up my tripod to photograph the lake. The fact that they were there was actually a blessing in disguise, because this spot was way better than the one I wanted to shoot from initially.
