“Kananaskis” is my first ever timelapse short film, and I’m incredibly proud to share it with you. Over the past eight years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of Kananaskis Country, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, across all four seasons. Shot over 58 separate days, each frame is a tribute to the ever-changing landscapes where snow-dusted peaks give way to rugged forests of pine, fir and spruce, and golden autumn leaves dance in the crisp mountain air. This film is a personal journey, a testament to my deep connection to this wild and majestic land. With each passing season, I’ve sought to preserve the fleeting moments of nature’s grand spectacle, and I’m truly excited to present the culmination of these years of work.
