An Evening with Mount Rundle

Mount Rundle, near the town of Banff, is one of the most iconic mountains in Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada). I came here early one morning to meet up with a few photography friends but the light was not the greatest for this type of “grand landscape” shot. We then spent the rest of day exploring the mountains in Kananaskis Country and after a day of shooting I began the drive home. As I was driving, I noticed the sky to the west was starting to look really interesting so I made the quick decision to go back to Banff and give Mount Rundle another go. I definitely don’t regret my decision as this turned out to be one of my all time favorite images!
