A West Coast Sunset

This image was made on Galiano Island, which is near Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We spent a couple nights camping on the island and this location was not far from our campsite. We had spent the entire day exploring the island and I was actually in the middle of preparing dinner when I looked up and saw the sky explode in colour. I immediately grabbed my camera bag and ran as fast as I could down to the beach. Fortunately, I had just enough time to capture the wonderful scene before the light faded.
