Quiet

There is nothing more magical than being in the mountains in the middle of winter. I love seeing the snow covered peaks and frozen lakes and waterfalls. It may be just me, but often winter in the Canadian Rockies has a calm, quiet and serene feeling to it. That is, unless it is super cold and the wind is howling! One could argue though that both can be equally inspirational.
This is one image that I made on a beautifully calm and quiet winter’s evening in Spray Valley Provincial Park, just south of Canmore, Alberta, Canada.
